What PaySlice actually does
A shared notebook for “who owes who” — not a payments app. Two minutes to read, and everything else in these guides makes more sense.
PaySlice keeps track of shared spending. Someone pays for something, you record it, and PaySlice works out who owes what — across one dinner or a three-week trip.
🔑No money moves through PaySlice
We never touch your bank account, and we never ask for card details. PaySlice is the record of the debt. Paying it back still happens the way it always did — bank transfer, UPI, cash, whatever you two use.
The whole loop, in four steps
- 1
Add the people
Add the people you share money with as friends, or put them in a group. - 2
Record an expense
What it was, how much, who paid, and who it was for. - 3
Watch the balance
PaySlice keeps a running balance with each person, updated in real time. - 4
Settle in real life, then record it
When you pay each other back, record the payment and the balance goes to zero.
What it's good at
Trips where one person keeps paying and nobody wants to do maths at 1am. Flatshares with a rolling set of bills. Any group where the split isn't clean halves. And spending in more than one currency — which is where most expense apps quietly give up or start charging.
💡Everything is free
There's no Pro tier and no premium unlock. Multi-currency, unlimited groups, custom splits, charts and checklists are all included — you will never hit a wall asking you to upgrade to see your own balance.
