Who can see what

The short, plain-language version of the privacy policy.

Your expenses

An expense is visible to exactly the people in it. Not to their other friends, not to other members of the app, not to anyone who happens to know your email. If you're not in the split, you can't see it — and that's enforced by the database itself, not just hidden in the app.

Your profile

Your name, avatar and the email you signed up with are visible to other PaySlice users — that's how someone finds you to add you as a friend. Nothing else about you is.

Your money

We never ask for a card, a bank account, or a UPI ID, because PaySlice doesn't move money. There is nothing of that kind to leak.

Leaving

Account settings → Delete account removes your profile and your avatar. Expenses you were part of keep a record that a participant existed, because deleting your half of a shared bill would silently change what your friends owe each other.

The full policy is at payslice.app/privacy and inside the app under Account settings. Questions about your data go to privacy@payslice.app.
